Popular highlife musician, Akwaboah on Delay Tv has addressed the surrounding rumor to his marital status and fatherhood, accepting that he has children with different women but did not marry them.
Rumours started throwing around during Akwaboah’s wedding, revealing he has children with different women but left them to marry a new wife, who is alleged of being a virgin.

The popular Ghana highlife musician tied knot with her new partner Theresa on Friday, 3 May, 2024 in a colourful ceremony. The couple had their traditional wedding on Friday, May 3rd, 2024 following a white wedding on the same day.
On 1st May 2024, Akwaboah posted the news about his new marriage on his instagram page.
Users immediately started commenting and give various reactions with some showing support and understanding and other criticizing them.

Finally, Akwaboah took the opportunity to addressed the public during an interview on delay show and this is what he said;
“In life, these things happen. We give ourselves some timelines or we expect certain things to happen, but they don’t go as planned. But we still move on. Growing up as a man, I wasn’t happy about having children with two separate women and leaving them to marry another.
But situations happened, and it’s something I cannot explain now,” he told the host Deloris Frimpong Manso. “Perhaps if those relationships had been more peaceful, I would have remained in them,” he conceded.
“They were not virgins when I met them. As for my wife, I didn’t choose her because she was a virgin. I didn’t even know until I told her I wanted to be with her.”
